Civic Coding - Innovation Network AI for the Common Good is a joint initiative of the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, the Federal Ministry for Education, Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth and the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Climate Action, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety. With Civic Coding, the three ministries are joining forces to contribute to the creation of a vibrant innovation network for AI for the common good, in particular encouraging networking and the exchange of ideas among very diverse actors. The Civic Coding web portal is operated by the Denkfabrik Digitale Arbeitsgesellschaft im BMAS (hereinafter referred to as "operator").
The Civic Coding web portal is aimed at anyone interested in the development and implementation of AI projects for the common good, whether private individuals, start-ups, research institutes or public institutions - the more diverse the users, the better the results.
