The Civic Coding initiative

Acting across ministries

Civic Coding – Innovation Network AI for the Common Good” is a joint initiative of the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (BMAS), the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (BMFSFJ) and the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUV).

In our innovation network, we are crossing ministerial boundaries and responsibilities. We want to create structures that promote the emergence of social innovations from within society and the social adaptation of AI on a widespread basis.
